Main Duties and Responsibilities: Provision of supervision, support and direction in all daily (PTW) activities to assure work is being carried in accordance with HES guidelines, permit to work and all other relevant Company procedures; Assist with coordination and forward planning to ensure that all permit requirements are pre-planned ready for start of next day's work; Tracks work permits through the entire life cycles from initiation to completion/close-out. Ensure record-keeping requirements are met; Maintains daily permit log, listing permit types issues, location and scope of work; Ensures strict implementation of PTW rules at work locations; Coordinates and participates in work permit co-ordination meetings; Audits the Permit to Work Procedure and ensure compliance on a daily basis; Providing a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates and ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained and informing the IA, PA and AA of any potential conflicts; Operating the Permit Office to reflect the current status of all permitted work and isolations. This includes maintaining the permit coordination display board; Taking a lead role in ensuring the SIMOPs is not compromised by the issue of conflicting permits; Coaching and mentoring of staff when necessary; Ensuring that PTW updates/changes are effectively communicated to all relevant personnel; Deliver PTW competency training program; Develop and maintain a site specific PTW authorized Persons register; Takes part and contributes meaningfully during PTW review meetings; Ensure a PTW tracking system is in place; Keeps track of valid work permits and ensures closure of work permits on completion of work; Ensures expired work permits are closed, cancelled or renewed as the case maybe; Forward all audit reports to field manager and records to be maintained. Requirements: Technical university Degree; Minimum 5 years experience in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry with an HSE focus; Minimum 5 years experience in a PTW Coordinator role; Knowledge in HSSE Management Systems, Onshore production operations and Onshore drilling operations; Management of Contractors and contract evaluations; HSE performance analysis and leadership of intervention strategies; Behavioural HSE and Human Factors; PTW System; Proven capability of delivering sustainable performance improvement; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Flexible and solution oriented combined with high personal integrity; Hands on approach to problem solving; Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge; Demonstrates shared commitment to the success of the team and the wider organisation; Takes responsibility for achieving challenging HSE goals; Preferable candidates are from Duhok / Zakho area.
