Material Coordinator

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:   Coordinates the generation of pick tickets, cycle counting sheets, and physical inventory sheets and is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the on-hand inventory count; Follow up handling, storage and preservation of materials that require special care; Organize quarantine for materials falling under OS&D/NC category (Overage, shortage, and damages) or materials without the required certification; Implement preservation and maintenance plans of materials in storage areas as instructed by Company Experts and Suppliers; Update WMS (Available Company Database system) on daily basis and prepare all reports requested by relevant departments and management; Check inventory for ROP/ROQ (MIN/MAX) levels and report to line manager; Manages and supervises the inventory transaction processes to ensure inventory accuracy and timeliness; Communicate using Microsoft Outlook / company’s email account, be professional and follow company’s system / I.T rules at all time; Following company’s Safety Requirements at all time, prioritize & encourage Safety Culture; Responsible to report to line manager any HESS incidents (Health, Environment, Safety & Security); All responsibilities will be delegated to the Materials Coordinator during the absence of the Head of warehouse management service.   Requirements: Bachelors Degree in the related field is preferable; Minimum of 3 years of experience in Material coordinator sector (preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry); Experience in warehousing and Inventory assets in oil & gas sector facilities; Good Knowledge of warehouse operations management including inventory management, receiving, freight logistics processes, procedures and practices; Confident knowledge of the oil transportation technology; operations and maintenance of the trunk oil pipelines and process management systems; Strong practical knowledge of planning, project management and implementation, quality control and completion of industrial construction projects, preferably in the area of oil trunk pipeline transportation; Must be flexible on the working schedule and work longer hours if required; Ability to adapt working in a yard & warehouse (dusty / fast pace environment); Team player, reliable and punctual; Proficiency in using standard office software such as MS Windows, MS Office and/or equivalent; Proficiency in using modern communication tools such as Internet, e-mail, mobile phone, telephone / video conferencing, instant messenger systems; Good Knowledge of Materials Management Software, such as SAP / SKOLMS / Maximo / ORACLE; Fluent in Arabic, English, Kurdish and Russian is a plus.   Working Condition:   (5) Days per week & (8) hours per day (Starting from 8:30 am till 5:30 pm);   How to Apply: You can apply by either scrolling down or clicking on "Apply for this position" tab or by e-mailing your updated CV to ( ) with the job code and title of the position in the subject line.
